performance are significant. As the Senior Health Care Economics
Consultant, you will perform critical research and investigation of
key business problems. Using phenomenal analytical skills, you will
develop and improve quantitative data analytics and set performance
targets for the enterprise. As a subject matter expert, you will
interpret and analyze clinical data from various sources and
recommend best approaches for its consolidation. You will lead a
team in identifying potential areas for medical cost improvements
and alternative pricing strategies. There are new challenges and

in this function will be responsible for researching and
investigating key business problems through quantitative analyses
of utilization and healthcare costs data. Develop and improve
quantitative data analytics and set performance targets. You'll

U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary
Responsibilities:
- Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements
- Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems
- Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately
complex analyses
- Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most
complex tasks
- Translates concepts into practice
- Provides explanations and information to others on difficult
issues
- Coaches, provides feedback, and guides others
- Acts as a resource for others with less experience You'll be

you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in epidemiology, biostatistics,
Pharmacoeconomics, health services research, economics, health
economics, public health or a related quantitative discipline
- 5+ years of experience with data reporting and analysis
- 3+ years of experience with SAS or SQL
- 2+ years of experience with healthcare data
- Measure and Report Financial Impact of Clinical Programs
- Perform Healthcare Affordability Analytics
- Perform Financial Forecasting and Trend Analysis
- Perform Standard and Ad hoc Reporting Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in epidemiology, biostatistics,
Pharmacoeconomics, health services research, economics, health
economics, public health or a related quantitative discipline
- PhD degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, pharmacoeconomics,
health services research, economics, health economics, public
health or a related quantitative discipline
- Intermediate to Advanced VBA skills
- Advanced reporting skills using software like Excel, PowerBI,
Tableau, Cognos Careers at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, Washington or New York
City residents is $85,000 to $167,300. Pay is based on several
factors including but not limited to education, work experience,
certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group
