Lab TechnicianJob Summary:Supports R&D engineering in the development of new systems and the support of existing product lines by procuring, fabricating, or modifying components, assembling and testing breadboard and prototype assemblies and systems, generating test reports, troubleshooting problems and developing corrective actions.Will research, determine, and develop tests as necessary for products under development, and existing products. This applies to all the product lines produced by the company; Conduction Soldering, Convection Soldering, Fluid Dispensing, and Fume Extraction equipment. Maintain and organize the R&D Lab and equipment.Job Duties & Requirements:

• Utilize data logging equipment to collect data from thermocouples, flow meters, transducers, etc.
• Collect, organize, analyze, and present data from tests.
• Source parts for prototypes, and equipment for testing.
• Assemble and test prototypes.
• Build and test PCBA
• Check and correct if necessary, Engineering Drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and prototype parts.
• Check, test, and approve first article parts.
• Work with Engineering, Production, Technical Support, Purchasing or any other departments, on any problem that affects the function of our products
• Design and build tooling, test fixtures and assembly equipment, may operate machine tools.Skills Required:
  • Ability to read and understand engineering documentation (schematics, BOM's, etc.)
  • Must be computer literate and familiar with Word and Excel.
  • Good soldering and rework skills.
  • Ability to handle a variety of projects simultaneouslyEducation & Work Experience Requirements:
    • AA in Electronics, or Engineering Technology, or equivalent
