Summary: In this role, the Continuous Process Improvement Analyst will assist the business with the identification, analysis, documentation, and implementation of process improvements focusing on increasing productivity, reducing costs, and improving efficiencies for the goal of increasing internal and external customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- - - - - - - - -Work closely with the Manager of Continuous Improvement to deploy Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement across the organization
- - - - - - - - -Lead process improvement initiatives with quantifiable and tangible results
- - - - - - - - -Facilitate Kaizen, Value Stream events, or quick improvement workshop events that deliver quantifiable results
- - - - - - - - -Perform analysis to determine root cause of process barriers, identify sources of inefficiencies, waste or excess costs, and develop recommendations for process improvements.
Conduct compliance audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures
Assist in the development of continuous improvement project plans, monitor and report on KPI (Key Performance Index) performance
Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects
Create data analysis and reports to identify performance patterns/trends and opportunities
Assist in documenting improvement requirements and performing user acceptance testing (UAT)
Perform other qualified duties, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS - To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. An aptitude and appreciation for serving customers with an ability to approach workload in a proactive fashion. Confident with well-developed interpersonal skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's degree or at least 3-5 years Continuous Improvement experience in DMAIC, DFSS, Kaizen, Value Stream, or other relevant methodologies. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Understanding of continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, etc. -Must have excellent documentation skills, demonstrated record of following through on commitments, and leading and supporting successful projects. -Experience in one or more of the following fields a plus: Data analytics, SQL coding, project management, or business administration.

LANGUAGE SKILLS - Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with a diverse group. Ability to translate complex data into simplified executive level presentations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS- Use data & statistical tools to create continuous improvement plans (including cost trending and improvement plans).

REASONING ABILITY- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills required. Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. -Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. -Must possess analytical skills and ability to think quickly. -Ability to recommend alternative solutions and translate complex concepts into simplified and understandable examples. -Develop effective preventive and corrective action plans.

OTHER SKILLS - - Ability to work across all levels to lead and influence key stakeholders. Objective and resilient when presenting findings and insights. Desire to learn new skills, tools and techniques. Energetic self-starter with strong leadership skills. Deliver on commitments: proven track record of sustainable performance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. TRAVEL- Air and ground travel to various Daylight Transport facilities to conduct training, auditing, and meetings. -May require travel to suppliers and vendors.

WORK ENVIRONMENT- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. -This job operates -in an office setting. When travelling, the job requires access to dock and yard areas to conduct training and auditing.
