The Compliance Analyst position is responsible for supporting the
YMFUS compliance management program through advisory assistance to
first-line business and operations units, second-line monitoring
and testing, regulatory and third-party exam and audit support,
development and oversight of internal governance documents, and
other common financial service provider compliance duties. Assist
with the development of compliance-related programs and
processes.
Essential Job Duties:
Support second-line monitoring and testing program.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the
operations/business units to develop and update policies and
operating procedures. Maintain policies and procedures library.
Monitor legal/regulatory changes and provide advisory support to
operations/busines units with implementation of new/changing
requirements.
Maintain files and records. Compile information requested for
audits and testing. Prepare documents and reports as requested.
Analyze data and reports to identify compliance gaps related to
operational processes.
Assist with department projects, due diligence efforts, and
corrective action plans.
Assist with analyzing consumer complaints to reach appropriate
resolution.
Other compliance-related administrative duties.
Qualfications:
AA or Bachelors degree with emphasis in Communications, English, or
related emphasis a plus (high school degree or equivalent
required).
3+ years of compliance related experience at a supervised financial
institution. Equivalent work experience in a related field will
also be considered.
Knowledge of federal and consumer financial regulations governing
the consumer finance industry. Familiarity with TILA, ECOA, FCRA,
FDCPA, UDAAP, GLBA, CCPA/CPRA a plus.
Ability to draft meaningful reports.
Ability to adapt quickly to change and deliver quality results in a
timely manner.
Proficiency in MS Office-Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and
possess the ability to work well with others.
