Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clerical Patient Admission
Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain communication with clients, family members,
and referral sources
Partner with agency staff and referral sources to achieve optimal
patient satisfaction and outcomes
Facilitate the timely acceptance or decline of referrals based on
predetermined criteria
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School diploma or GED
Minimum of one year experience in home care, hospice, or personal
care services, preferred
Prior use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferred
Experience dealing with various payors in healthcare, such as
Medicare and Medicaid, preferred
