Job Description:

The Admissions Operations Specialist establishes admissibility into the university. Key components of this position include providing a wide variety of general office work and student support. The Admissions Operations Specialist will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and will provide information on college policies, procedures, standards and requirements within FERPA guidelines.Position Responsibilities

• Prepare and process necessary documents for ordering transcripts.
• Communicate with students and institutions regarding document status.
• Work as a liaison between the Admissions and Registrar's Offices to ensure consistent and timely document management and maintenance of the Student Information System in compliance with University policy.
• Create and maintain daily report queues for team distribution.
• Continuously review University policies and procedures in order to anticipate and implement changes.
• Student service and support including problem solving, student satisfaction, and referral assistance.
• Maintain relevant knowledge of student record procurement processes.
• Assist other members of the team when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.QualificationsPosition Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in higher education environment.
  • Working knowledge of software applications including MS Office.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Must be detail oriented.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with students, administrators, staff, faculty and outside constituencies.
    • Possess a working knowledge of commonly-used practices and procedures within particular field.

      • Bachelor's degree.
      • Experience with Student Information Systems and website content management.
