Job Summary: The Senior ISSO plays a crucial role in maintaining and securing the organization's information systems by implementing and managing security measures. This position supports a multi-year contract at our customer site in Annapolis Junction, MD, focusing on the development and deployment of large collection systems. • Provides aid to the program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program.
• Assists with proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing security policies and standards.
• Maintains operational security posture to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Supports security management and performs daily security operations.
• Evaluates security solutions for compliance with processing classified information.
• Performs vulnerability and risk assessments for certification and accreditation.
• Provides configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Manages system changes and assesses security impacts.
• Prepares and reviews documentation such as SSPs, Risk Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs.
• Supports security authorization activities in line with NISCAP and DoD RMF. Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field with 7+ years of experience, or additional experience in lieu of degree.
• 7+ years supporting IC or DoD programs of similar scope.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level II or IAT Level III (e.g., CASP, CISSP).
