About Us: The Southern California United Food & Commercial Workers Unions and Joint Benefit Trust Funds (UFCW) is located in Cypress, California. We serve more than 100,000 collective bargaining employees that serve in the grocery stores throughout Southern California. UFCW provides medical, dental, vision and pension benefits for the grocery workers. We take pride in supporting the valuable grocery store employees as they serve customers throughout the region. The Need: We are seeking an Imaging Software Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to analyze, manipulate, segment and develop and build out the imaging platform for the organization. Responsibilities: * Lead complex technology initiatives including those that impact the organization * Act as a key participant in development imaging standards and best practices for the organization * Design code, test and document imaging project for launch * Create and implement best practices to design, engineer and implement technical imaging solutions * Collaborate with technology team and external vendors to resolve complex imaging software issues Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED required * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related field or combination of education and experience * Strong understanding of software development concepts including Agile, Scrum or Waterfall * Prior experience utilizing imaging software from a development perspective * Deadline and detail-oriented * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
