Description:SUMMARYThe Technical Services Specialist is responsible for assisting customers with product issues and helping the Sales & Marketing division with technical issues and product samples. Determines the testing and investigation strategy to be employed to evaluate inquiries and complaints received from clients. Summarizes and reports the results of all investigations to the appropriate parties. Supports all applicable regulations including but not limited to FDA, ISO, and CMD/CAS requirementRESPONSIBILITIES:-Interact with customers to receive and respond to inquiries and complaints in a highly competent and professional manner.-Interact with the Technical Support department regarding complaint confirmation testing and process and product improvements-Provides guidance and recommendations for the investigation of inquiries and complaints-Provides reports and summaries of the data and results of investigations to all appropriate parties-Interact with the Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments to ensure timely closure of complaint issues.-Give feedback to the Manufacturing area about product issues.-Interface with R&D or other laboratory personnel for data necessary for product support.-Arrange for serum or prepared samples for and from customers.-Train customers or internal personnel on technical issues including visiting clients at their sites-Research questions through articles, in house personnel, internet, etc.Skills:IVD, Molecular, diagnosticsTop Skills Details:In-vitro diagnosticstroubleshootingmolecularAdditional Skills & Qualifications:

• Requires B.S. degree with a minimum of 5-7 years experience and previous IVD experience.
• Candidates MUST have experience working in a medical lab. Ideally looking for a CLS or an MLT.
• The Technical Services Specialist should be knowledgeable of and technically competent with all of the company's products.
• The specialist should have training and experience in a laboratory environment and have specific expertise with immunoassays.
• The specialist must have previous experience in troubleshooting IVD and immunoassays so they can determine the type of investigation must be pursued.
• Previous experience in Medical Technology would be a definite advantage. The position requires the maintenance of documentation to meet specific quality standards.
• The applicant should have excellent communication, project management, time management, and people skills together with a sense of urgency to resolve customer issues quickly and accurately.Best Candidates will have hands on experience with the company's molecular products or technical experience with molecular in-vitro diagnosticsExperience Level:Expert Level About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
