SARA is looking for an exceptionally talented, motivated, and
experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Cypress,
CA . The Human Resources Generalist performs a full range of
complex assignments under general supervision and minimal detailed
guidance to work collaboratively with management and staff to
administer HR policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Track and
process new hires, terminations, and multiple employee actions and
changes Conduct employee life cycle operations: new hire
onboarding/orientation to terminations/offboarding Administer
benefit plan enrollments, terminations, and changes for health,
disability, retirement, and life insurance plans Administer full
cycle recruiting (source, screen, interview, feedback, offer)
Assist with FMLA, Workers--- Compensation, and Affirmative Action
Compliance programs Assist with the performance review process
Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
Responsible for data input and recordkeeping for HR programs and
projects Participate/assist with HR projects Reconcile monthly
benefit insurance billing statements / conduct audit of payroll,
benefits and other HR programs Participate in any necessary
investigations and disciplinary actions Stay up-to-date with legal
requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human
resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting
are compliant Perform other HR generalist duties as assigned
Position Requirements: Bachelor---s Degree in an area such as Human
Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or Business, or
equivalent combination of education and experience 4-6 years of
relevant HR experience Detail-oriented Thorough knowledge of
federal, state and local laws affecting payroll and personnel
activities Extremely strong organizational, project, and time
management skills Strong problem-solving abilities Proactive stance
towards continuous process improvement in HR and related functions
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products Excellent verbal
and written communication Ability to obtain/maintain security
clearance, if applicable U.S. Citizenship Preferred Qualifications:
Professional HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) Experience with ADP,
Costpoint, Unanet Work experience in an Aerospace & Defense,
Manufacturing or related industry Familiarity with Office of
Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) audit practices
