Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric ER Location: San Diego, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,092 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour or Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: - Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a pediatric Emergency Department or Children's hospital. License: - Current state RN license required. Certifications: - BLS & PALS required. Must-Have: - Experience with computerized charting. - Triage experience. - IV start experience. - Telemetry experience. - Conscious sedation experience. - Flu shot required during the fall/winter season. Description: Candidates must have recent experience in a pediatric Emergency Department. They should be able to demonstrate competence in selected nursing skills for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. Experience in straight catheterization for all age groups is necessary. Candidates must be willing to work any shifts, including nights. The department treats a high volume of pediatric patients and involves fast-paced work environments. Staff is scheduled based on patient arrival patterns. Flexibility to work weekends is essential, with no specific weekend requirements. Travelers will not have back-to-back day and night shifts. The department handles a significant volume, treating approximately 100,000 patients per year. Only candidates with a valid state license will be considered.
