Description: Looking for ICU RNs to work in a progressive care
unit. The patient nurse ratio will be 1:3. First-time travelers are
accepted. Weekends are required, with every other weekend expected.
Floating is required within the skill set. No on-call requirements
for this position. RTO must be included at the time of submission.
Facility is an acute care hospital with a total of 377 staffed
beds. Daily census averages around 280. The unit provides care for
adults and geriatric patients, with common diagnoses including
sepsis, myocardial infarction, stroke, COVID-19, congestive heart
failure, open-heart surgery, and trauma. Interdisciplinary support
includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation
services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and rapid
response teams. Special procedures performed in this unit include
intubation and extubation. All travelers are expected to float
within facilities in the state. Travelers' refusal to float may
result in termination of the assignment. Providers will be supplied
with communication devices needed to perform their duties.
Completion of required training modules is necessary prior to start
and will be self-reported. Requirements Required for Onboarding
