Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a travel Polysomnographer for a travel job in Los Angeles, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Polysomnographer - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 52 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days, nights, flexible - Employment Type: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Polysomnographer Location: VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA Contract Length: 1 Year 4 Option Years Shifts: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:00 PM–4:30 AM (8-hour shifts) Openings: 4 FTEs ? Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price Position Summary: Seeking four full-time Registered Respiratory Therapists with Polysomnography capability to provide inpatient support at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. Therapists will be responsible for respiratory care procedures and comprehensive sleep studies. Required Qualifications: - RRT certification (NBRC) - RPSGT (BRPT) or RST (AASM) - Active California License (Respiratory Care Board/Medical Board) - 2 years of respiratory care experience (1 year in critical care) - 2 years of sleep lab experience - BLS required, ACLS preferred - U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder Key Responsibilities: - Deliver respiratory and sleep-related diagnostic and therapeutic services - Perform full and split-night polysomnographic studies - Manage mechanical ventilation, CPAP, BIPAP, oxygen therapy - Assist with airway management, including intubation - Monitor EEG, EOG, EMG, oxygen levels, ECG, and sleep stages - Respond to Rapid Response Calls and emergencies - Provide patient education and maintain accurate logs About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
