Job Description:

Our client in Cypress needs 2 Claims Processors ASAP.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 2 years of medical office experience (Job Description below); Must have computer knowledge & data entry with speed and accuracy, claims background and will be handling claims call; so phone etiquette is a must

HOURS: 8:30 AM ? 5:00 PM (*First Day the Candidate will arrive at 9AM)

PAY RATE: $13/hr.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Research and audit patient accounts

? Enters data into the MIS System

? Confirms patient eligibility and prepares billing to insurance companies

? Follow up on outstanding claims with payors

? Ensures pertinent billing related documents are filed.

? Processes provider claims in ?MIS? system on a daily basis.

? Processes corrections internally and coordinates with clinical insurance company as appropriate to ensure account accuracy.

? Process claims daily meeting established production standards

? Review and process inbound faxes

? Supports inbound phone queues

? Maintain a spreadsheet of claims received and claims pending

? Provide daily reports of claims received to Claims Team Lead and Claims Manager

? Process claims that are received through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) clearing house

? Resolve complex claims issues from providers and payors

? Review and correct denials processed by claims processors

? Keep team lead and Claims Manager informed of issues as they arise

? Assist in training new staff

? Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager
