KEY PURPOSE:
Implement, manage and maintain long-term and short-term sourcing strategy for Speedo Hard Goods in cooperation with internal and external partners. Demonstrate knowledge and clear understanding of Speedo business and strategies in order to impact the end-to-end value chain. Provide input into overall sourcing strategy, track and report out on KPIs, assist creation and lead execution of sourcing initiatives in support of strategic initiatives. Strong problem solver with ability to influence cross-functional and global partners.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Director of Sourcing build and drive short and long-term finished Hard Goods sourcing strategies.
Drive and create standard operating procedures for sourcing system processes.
Train, develop, and manage team members to evolve appropriate skill set and provide feedback through the employee review process.
Evaluate tech packs and collaborate with design team prior to handoff
Enhance supply chain efficiency and speed to market capabilities for hard goods product.
Understand and take advantage of duty and macro cost efficiencies for margin maximization.
Maintain ongoing management of existing vendor risk mitigation (financial solvency, capital expenditures).
Manage fact-based cost negotiations on seasonal and carryover styles, with input from cross-functional teams as necessary.
Identify, develop and calibrate new vendor partners to meet and exceed Speedo and Pentland standards and goals
Based on sourcing strategies, allocate seasonal program development and production to vendor partners.
Engage team on calendar and process management, and deliver Operational Excellence and KPI reporting.
Execute seasonal review and analysis of new product manufacturing and commercialization risk.
Participate Supply Escalation process as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
8+ years professional experience in sourcing and production in apparel and/or textile industries. Sourcing and production experience necessary
Bachelor's Degree in related field
Hard Goods experience preferred
MS Office
Cloud-based management software (PLM and/or ERP) proficiency
Strong leadership skills
Attention to detail
Process execution and follow-up
Excellent interpersonal skills
Able to influence and communicate with all levels
Works both independently and collaboratively
Must be hands on
