PURPOSE The Training Manager is responsible for increasing sales and profits through proper people training and development as well as displaying excellent leadership practices. This role provides training leadership, direction and support for all company brands with the overall goal of ensuring the effective operation and success of the company through learning and development programs. The Training Manager consistently demonstrates as well as enforces company policies, practices and procedures. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Consult with executive management, and cross functional departments to analyze learning and development needs across all areas of the business * Develop, conduct, execute and evaluate training programs and content related to programs. * Perform gap analysis to understand learner's needs when creating curriculum strategy * Ensure all brands meet or exceed the company's Operations and Quality Standards through proper training and learning and development initiatives. * Perform location visits, and provide a summary of visits, as assigned on a semi-regular basis to ensure team members understand strengths and developmental opportunities as they relate to quality and training standards. * Organize and monitors the progress of all Managers in Training and provides a summary of progress. * Conduct onsite training for existing locations as well as point person for all New Restaurants Openings * Conduct workshops and training events * Ensure proper training of Certified Trainers and monitor the effectiveness of Certified Training Restaurants. * Create ongoing testing and evaluation processes which are aligned with company standards of operations. * Monitor industry trends as they relate to learning and development and continuously look for ways to innovate, making recommendations to enhance curriculum, and maximize the development of our teams * Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS * Ability to travel for long periods of time on assignment * Learning and development, instructional experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred. * Demonstrated success in training and people development. * Excellent computer skills with experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to navigate through the internet and various software programs used by the company. * Ability to think strategically and implement scalable training solutions that meets current business needs * Strong project management skills, with the ability of leading large, complex projects * Strong problem-solving skills * Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholder groups at all levels of the organization * Ability to present to audiences of different levels with ease. * Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing. * Ability to problem solve and handle multiple tasks as necessary WORKING CONDITIONS The working conditions described below are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.
