Solutions team, you'll play a crucial role in keeping the nation's
major defense programs on track and running smoothly. We are
seeking a highly skilled Procurement Analyst to support the San
Diego Maritime Solutions business. As a Procurement Analyst, you
will be part of an integrated team estimating in the hundreds of
millions across a diverse set of suppliers and
commodities/categories. As a Procurement Analyst, you will: Support
activities in proposal preparation, material pricing, and price
validation; material price evaluation; preparation and
administration of high-value/complex material proposals. Execute
approved procurement policies and procedures to provide the best
value consistent with quality and service requirements while
maintaining good supplier relations. Responsible for Procurement
Compliance and Cost/Price Analysis. Emphasize proposal development,
the ability to price bills of material (BOM), seek price-saving
opportunities, identify long-term agreement (LTA) worthy material,
and identify new suppliers. Respond to supplier inquiries, resolve
issues, and support Life Cycle Management efforts in proposal
execution. Drive Partner2Win initiatives and evaluate supplier
performance Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Required
Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's in a related discipline
and 2 years of work experience or equivalent experience of directly
related work Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations, ITAR, and EAR
regulations. Understanding/knowledge of CPSR audits and
requirements. Comprehensive understanding of subcontractor
solicitations and bid analysis/process. Key Skills: Ability to
motivate oneself. Excellent verbal and written communication.
Excellent time management/organizational skills. Strategic/Critical
Thinking. Ability to find win-win solutions; a “make it happen”
attitude. Ability to develop and implement continuous improvement
strategies. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word,
PowerPoint, and Outlook). Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Well-versed with Cost Point ERP or ERP systems. Earned Value
Management and Lifecycle Management experience. Professional Supply
Chain Certification: C.P.M., C.P.S.M., P.M.P. Subcontracts /
Contracts / Legal background. Experience in a
government-contracting environment, preferably in the Ship Repair
or Shipyard Industry and Department of Defense (DOD) contracting
environment. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $67406 -
$114590
