hour (depending on experience and certifications) Schedule:
Full-Time | Monday – Friday, some OT available Location: Los
Angeles, CA 90032 Industry: Heavy Equipment / Truck-Mounted
Hydraulic Systems Description We’re hiring an expert-level
Hydraulic Truck Repair Master Mechanic to join a team of elite
technicians specializing in truck-mounted hydraulic systems. This
is a high-level, hands-on role focused on the diagnosis, repair,
and customization of complex hydraulic systems found on service
bodies, cranes, aerial lifts, dump trucks, and other specialized
commercial vehicles. If you're an experienced hydraulic mechanic

Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair complex hydraulic failures
on truck-mounted equipment Troubleshoot and rebuild pumps, valves,
motors, cylinders, and control systems Design and fabricate custom
hydraulic circuits for specialized applications Perform flow
testing, pressure diagnostics, and leak detection Service and
install PTO-driven systems, proportional valves, electrohydraulic
controls, and joysticks Repair and maintain cranes, articulating
booms, telescopic cylinders, and stabilizers Support installation
and commissioning of new hydraulic equipment Train and mentor
junior techs and oversee quality control of repairs Maintain
detailed records of all work performed and modifications made
Ensure all work meets OEM specifications and safety standards
Qualifications & Experience 7–10 years of hands-on experience with
mobile hydraulic systems Deep knowledge of hydraulic theory, system
flow, and pressure diagnostics Proficient in reading and creating
hydraulic schematics Experience working with variable displacement
pumps, load-sensing circuits, and proportional controls Ability to
troubleshoot electrical/hydraulic interfaces Skilled in
fabrication, mechanical assembly, and hydraulic component rebuilds
Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred) Must own a complete
set of hydraulic and diagnostic tools Preferred Qualifications OEM
certifications (e.g., National Crane, Elliott, Palfinger, Hiab)
IFPS (International Fluid Power Society) certification Welding and
metal fabrication experience (tube bending, flaring, etc.)
Familiarity with PLC and electronic control systems Experience
designing custom hydraulic circuits or working with hydraulic
engineering teams Prior shop lead or supervisory experience
Compensation & Benefits Hourly wage: $40.00 – $55.00/hour DOE Fully
