The Ad Platforms Team develops and operates technology supporting
Disney's global advertising business across streaming and linear
channels. Their work includes infrastructure development for
Disney's ad server and reimagining viewer-first ad experiences,
forming the backbone of Disney's ad and streaming future.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collaborate with business teams, data scientists, and engineers
to understand objectives and define technical
requirements.
- Architect Generative AI solutions using techniques like
retrieval augmented generation and transformer architectures for
large-scale applications.
- Develop and implement descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and
prescriptive algorithms with models such as OpenAI GPT 3.5/4.0,
Anthropic Claude, Google Palm2, Amazon Nova, Meta
Llama2/3.
- Utilize frameworks like LangChain and Llama Index for efficient
language model retrieval and chaining.
- Select suitable AI technologies, tools, and frameworks to meet
performance and scalability needs.
- Oversee fine-tuning and deployment of Large Language Models,
ensuring best practices.
- Build and maintain Generative AI workflows, including data
preprocessing, model training, and feedback loops.
- Evaluate AI systems for performance, scalability, and
efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor team members.
- Stay updated on Generative AI advancements and identify
organizational opportunities.
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams for deployment and
monitoring.
- Document design choices and technical specifications.
- Work with research and engineering teams to design deep
learning architectures leveraging TensorFlow, PyTorch, and
XGBoost.
Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Training:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering,
Mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years in AI, machine learning, or data
science.
- Experience with Generative AI architectures and frameworks such
as retrieval augmented generation, vectorization, embeddings, and
multi-agent solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models like GPT, Palm2,
Nova, etc.
- Experience in AI solution deployment and monitoring on cloud
platforms like AWS.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication
skills.
- Knowledge of latest AI advancements, ethical AI practices, and
ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Expertise in deep learning models and traditional machine
learning algorithms, with proficiency in TensorFlow, PyTorch, and
XGBoost.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in AI-driven ad industry solutions, including video
generation, CTR prediction, user segmentation, and inventory
forecasting.
The salary range in Los Angeles, CA is $202,900 - $272,100, and in
Seattle, WA is $212,600 - $285,100. Compensation includes base
salary, bonus, incentives, and benefits, with actual offers
depending on experience, location, and other factors.
