Job Description Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. has a job opportunity for a full-time Supply Technician in San Diego, CA. /n Summary: The Supply Technician supports Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group One (EODGRU ONE) and will research repair parts, service procedures, and tool requirements and obtain parts and service quotes from commercial vendors for repairing watercraft and trailer equipment. /n Duties and Responsibilities: /n /n - Use manufacturer parts and service manuals, electronic databases, and direct communications with dealers to identify and price parts and services. Accuracy in parts acquisition is essential to efficient shop operations and 95% accuracy on orders is required. /n - Perform aspects of supply chain management (e.g., inventory management, storage management, and property utilization) related to maintenance, repair and local supply activities. /n - Maintain storeroom with readily available parts to supply mechanics with common service items. /n - Conduct logistics support associated with equipment maintenance including shop cleanliness. /n - Review mechanic information provided on worksheets and research sources of supply for repair parts required to complete maintenance and shop operations. /n - Research parts via direct vendor contact, repair parts manuals, and internet-based information sources when not available thru the navy stock system. /n /n Required Qualifications: /n - A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in logistics and parts procurement/management. /n /n - Must be able to recognize high and low inventory limits and manage in-stock numbers. /n - Must be able to make recommendations to Government on ready access parts, storage numbers, based on rate of usage, acquisition timeline or demand. /n - Be familiar with various manufacturer repair parts manuals, web sites, and parts listings available to locate supply sources. /n - Must have ability to obtain security clearance. /n - Must have HS Diploma or equivalent. /n - Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens. /n /n /n /n ADA Notations: /n /n - Must be able to work in an office environment. May sit for long periods of time. /n - Must also be able to work in a shipyard environment and on naval vessels on occasion. Must be able to get up and down ladders and in tight spaces where required. /n - May require PPE in certain environments (hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, etc.) /n
