Responsibilities The Vice President in Corporate Finance will be a
senior member of the team responsible for financial planning and
analysis at Oaktree. Responsibilities for this role will include:
Help build a best-in-class FP&A capability—raising the bar on
accuracy, timeliness, controls, and executive-ready insights Serve
as a key finance leader during Oaktree’s transformation and
integration with Brookfield, aligning planning, reporting, and
performance management to evolving stakeholder needs Establish and
continuously improve the finance operating rhythm, including
standardized KPI dashboards, management reporting, and clear
narratives that support decisive action Lead finance support for
enterprise-wide strategic initiatives (new products, organizational
changes, platform integration), translating complex business
questions into actionable analyses and recommendations Champion
data integrity and scalable processes by enhancing governance,
documentation, and controls—while automating recurring reporting to
shift the team’s time toward value-added analysis Partner with
senior leadership in ensuring strong financial stewardship through
budgeting, financial forecasting, strategy-level profitability,
trend analysis and various ad hoc analyses Improve decision-making
by analyzing the financial and non-financial impact of various
business and/or strategic alternatives Drive improvement within the
Corporate Finance Department and the Finance Organization by
implementing process enhancements and new technologies including
assisting in and lead implementation of Workday Adaptive Mentor and
provide guidance to direct reports and other team members to ensure
high performance and accountability Influence outcomes and educate
others by communicating important information in a clear and
concise manner that is tailored to its audience Understand the
components, drivers and evolution of Oaktree’s expenses and
revenues and forecast them accordingly Contribute to various
aspects of the quarterly close process Analyze the profitability of
Oaktree’s business including expense allocations, margin metrics
and growth opportunities Support corporate financing activities,
including preparation of materials for lenders and rating agencies;
and Prepare quarterly reporting materials and other internal and
external communication documents, including financial analyses for
materials shared with Brookfield, the Board of Directors, and other
key stakeholders Qualifications 10 years of corporate finance,
FP&A, accounting, investment banking or consulting experience
Experience in asset management or alternative asset management is a
plus Proven leader with experience managing high-performing
FP&A teams Outstanding analytical skills Ability to manage
tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, while independently
driving projects to completion Expertise at preparing and reviewing
complex financial models Advanced understanding of financial
statements and accounting Experience leveraging data & technology
to drive process efficiencies and mitigate operational risk Strong
working knowledge of Microsoft applications e.g., Excel,
PowerPoint, SharePoint; and Familiarity with Workday, SAP BPC or
other financial planning and analysis software is a plus Personal

Bachelor’s degree from a top college or university. MBA, advanced
degree, or finance/accounting certifications such as CPA or CFA is
a plus. Base Salary Range $160,000-$200,000 discretionary bonus and
