Job Description:

Leon Cycle is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team The AP Specialist is highly organized and detailed oriented, and will provide both administrative and financial support for processing accounts payable transactions and ensuring payments of all invoices are completed in a timely manner. Responsibilities Maintain all invoice records and accounts payable matters for the group and its subsidiaries in the US and CA Ensure timely payment of all invoices in accordance to contractual terms and payment terms Ensure strict compliance to payment SOP by all internal departments Handle bookkeeping and general ledger of accounts Monitor cash status, ensure cashflow liquidity meets company ratio Monitor exchange rate risks and ensure any potential risks are reported to the Finance Manager Record filing of all invoices and GST issuance Deal with foreign banks and financial institutions as needed Maintain and keep secure all company banking licenses and accounts Other duties as needed and requested by Finance & Accounting Manager Requirements: 3 years or more of accounting experience in accounts payable and/or accounting capacity; preferably in a high growth start up company Strong accuracy in Accounts Payable and ability to handle overseas payments in various different currencies and banking platforms Strong confidence in communicating across all departments and also with external clients Highly proficient in Excel with the ability to handle large volume of financial data via Excel spreadsheets Bachelor---s degree in accounting, finance, or related field Some PM hours will be required to attend meetings with Shanghai Finance & Management teams Why work at Leon Cycle Great Benefit program from the date of hire Be part of a growing team throughout Canada & US SimpleIRA Program Company Match Discount on ebikes, services, and accessories Other employee perks and fun things as we continue to grow About Leon Cycle LEON CYCLE is the retail arm of the LEISGER Cycle Group, manufacturers of premium electric bikes under the brand names NCM and LEISGER, and of electric bike components under Das-Kit and DeHawk.
